A Holiday Home in the Heart of Southport, KwaZulu Natal, South Coast
This KwaZulu Natal South Coast self-catering, beachfront cottage is a modern oasis for the city weary. Our front garden gate opens onto a narrow strip of indigenous vegetation (admiralty) which is all that separates you from the beautiful blue flag Southport beach.
Besides being a very popular KwaZulu Natal South Coast fishing beach, Southport is very conveniently situated in close proximity to many delightful restaurants, golf courses and shopping facilities.
Driftwood sleeps 10 people. It has 4 bedrooms with the main bedroom being en suite. A large rain shower room with loo and basin serves bedrooms 2 & 3 and a 3rd bathroom is adjacent to the 4th bedroom. All bathrooms have showers (no baths). Three of the bedrooms have queen size beds and the 4th bedroom has 2 sets of adult sized bunk beds. We like to call this the “kids’ room” as there is plenty of space for games between the bunk beds. All 4 bedrooms have fans and large cupboards.

This beautiful holiday home includes an open-plan lounge with 55” flat screen TV and a DVD with a sound bar supplying surround sound & includes a full package DSTV. The lounge opens up onto a large (45m2) under roof veranda with a 10-seater dining table, sideboard, hostess food warmer and hot tray. The veranda overlooks a sparkling swimming pool (with safety net if required) the beautiful garden with massive Milkwood trees, surfboard shower and braai and the inviting Indian ocean.
The veranda is furnished with an outdoor lounge suite and a magnificent hammock.
The property has recently been renovated and the furnishings and décor are tasteful.
The main bedroom also offers wall to wall stacker doors which open up to the veranda and sea view. Open plan living at its best!
You will love the “sundowner spot” with its magical ambiance overlooking the beach. A place to sip your champagne and recharge your batteries!

Rustig, gerieflik, baie lekker en net te kort.
Ek sal graag weer terugkeer na hierdie lieflike huis. Ruim leefareas, genoeg kamers en badkamers met ‘n groot stoep, braai-area en swembad. Direkte strandtoegang en veilig. Al die huishoudelike toerusting wat mens se rustyd net vergemaklik. Die plek het ons verwagtinge oortref.
Beautiful place.
We really had an awesome time at Driftwood Seaview. My kids loved that there was a gate leading us to a safe and beautiful beach, the rooms were clean and spacious enough. Most of all, we had everything we needed right there at the cottage, so we were all very entertained. Definitely recommend it to people who love having fun with their family.
